Flag Farming
In fields of color, I plant my seeds,
Each one a banner, growing with needs.
I tend to the soil of the skies above,
Sowing flags with pride, and dreams of love.
Each flag unfurls like a crop in bloom,
Tales of the world, of joy and of gloom.
In rows they stand, tall and serene,
Waving with stories, both heard and unseen.
From dawn’s first light, to evening’s glow,
I watch them sway as the soft winds blow.
They’re more than fabric, they’re symbols and signs,
Of borders crossed, and hearts that entwine.
I harvest the winds, their whispers sweet,
Flags of freedom, flags of defeat.
Some torn and tattered, others pristine,
Each one a chapter, a life, a dream.
I am the keeper of these colors bright,
Farming flags in the dark of night.
Growing emblems of hope, of strife,
Of all the journeys that make up life. |
